Refunds Policy

General Policy
All subscription fees paid to SkillStudio AI are non-refundable except in specific circumstances outlined below or where required by applicable consumer protection law.
Key Principles:
Non-Refundable Fees - All fees are billed in accordance with your Plan cycle (monthly or annual) and are non-refundable. This applies to:
Incomplete Plan cycles
Plan downgrades during a billing cycle
Unused accounts or unused AI credits
Unused learner seats
Plan Changes - If you downgrade your account to a lower-tier Plan during your current billing cycle, we will not provide a refund or credit for the difference. The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Account Cancellation - You may cancel your account at any time by following the cancellation procedure in your account settings. Upon cancellation:
You will retain access to the Services through the end of your current billing cycle
No refund will be issued for the unused portion of your billing cycle
Your account and all associated content will be deactivated at the end of the current billing cycle
Overages - If you exceed your Plan's learner seat allowance or AI credit limit, you will be notified immediately and again after 2 days. Downgrading after exceeding limits does not entitle you to a refund.
Exceptions and Discretionary Refunds
Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
Within 15 days of initial purchase: If the platform does not meet your needs or expectations, and you have not created significant content or utilized substantial AI resources
Billing errors: If you were incorrectly charged due to a technical error on our part
Failed cancellation: If you previously requested cancellation through proper channels and your request was not processed. You must contact support@skillstudio.ai with documentation of your cancellation request
Unauthorized charges: If charges were made without your authorization, you should first contact your bank or card issuer to initiate a fraud investigation, then contact Stripe (our payment processor) and notify us at support@skillstudio.ai
Enterprise Plans
Custom refund terms may apply to Enterprise customers. Please contact enterprise@skillstudio.ai for details regarding your specific agreement.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or EU consumer protection regulations.
Suspended Accounts
Accounts suspended due to non-payment may be subject to a reinstatement fee once payment is received.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund based on the criteria above:

Include:
The email address associated with your SkillStudio AI account
Your reason for requesting a refund
Any relevant invoices or documentation
Details of your usage (if applicable)
We will review your request and respond within 5-10 business days
All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval.
