How to View Course Analytics

This guide shows how to access and analyze per-course performance metrics like enrollment, completion rates, scores, time spent, drop-offs, and quiz performance in Skill Studio AI. Use it to track learner progress, identify bottlenecks, and improve content effectiveness.

Before You Start

  • A Skill Studio AI account with admin or course creator permissions.

  • An active course created from documents, PDFs, or SOPs with at least some learner enrollments.

  • Learner activity data generated (enrollments, completions, quiz attempts).

  • Browser access to the Skill Studio AI dashboard.

Steps

  1. Log in to Skill Studio AI dashboard — Navigate to your Skill Studio AI account and select the workspace containing your courses.

  2. Locate the course card — Browse your courses list or search for the specific course you want to analyze.

  3. Open course analytics menu — Click the menu icon (three dots) on the course card, then select Analytics or View Analytics.

  4. Review enrollment and completion metrics — Check total enrollments, completion rates, average scores, and average time spent to gauge overall course performance.

  5. Analyze progress and drop-off points — Use the progress tracking view to see learner advancement and identify bottleneck screens with high drop-off rates.

  6. Examine quiz performance — Dive into question-level data to view performance per quiz question and spot commonly missed items for content updates.

  7. Compare share link performance — If applicable, select share links tab to track metrics across different campaign links and compare effectiveness.

  8. Export or share report — Download analytics as PDF/CSV or generate a shareable link for stakeholders.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Check analytics regularly after content updates to measure impact on completion rates and drop-offs.

  • Filter by date ranges or user groups (e.g., new hires vs. veterans) for targeted insights.

  • Combine drop-off data with quiz analysis to prioritize revisions on low-engagement screens.

  • Use multi-language breakdowns if delivering courses globally to spot regional performance gaps.

Troubleshooting

No data appears in analytics

Ensure learners have enrolled and interacted; data refreshes every few hours—wait or refresh the page.

Drop-off points not visible

Requires sufficient completions; low enrollment courses may lack granular progress data.

Quiz analysis missing questions

Verify quizzes are added with interactive elements; re-publish course if recently edited.
