Before You Start

• A Skill Studio AI account with access to the Create dashboard.

• PDF documents under 50MB and ideally 50 pages or fewer.

• Well-structured documents with clear headings and table of contents.

• Embed URLs ready for presentations from Gamma, Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint Online.

• Split larger documents into sections if exceeding size or page limits.

Steps

1. Verify your PDF meets size limits — Ensure the PDF is under 50MB and no more than 50 pages for efficient AI processing; split larger files into multiple sections manually if needed.

2. Check document structure quality — Confirm the file has clear headings, sections, and optionally a table of contents to help AI extract text and structure accurately.

3. Navigate to course creation — Go to Create → From PDF in your Skill Studio AI dashboard to start the upload process.

4. Upload the PDF document — Select and upload your prepared PDF file, which the AI will analyze for sections, headings, and key concepts to generate a course outline.

5. Enable optional visuals analysis — Toggle "Analyze Visuals" if available to let AI generate diagrams, flowcharts, or infographics from the content.

6. Handle presentations via embed — For PowerPoints or slides, obtain an embed URL from Gamma, Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint Online and import it directly.

7. Review and adjust post-import — After AI extraction, manually tweak any complex layouts or missing elements for a polished course structure.
