How to Switch View Modes in Skill Studio AI

This guide shows you how to toggle between Creator Mode and Learner Mode in Skill Studio AI. Use it when building courses or previewing the learner experience to ensure content works as expected.

Before You Start

• A Skill Studio AI account with access to a workspace.

• Creator or admin permissions in your organization workspace.

• At least one course created or enrolled in the workspace.

• Familiarity with the Skill Studio AI dashboard interface.

Steps

1. Log in to your workspace — Access Skill Studio AI and navigate to your organization workspace from the account dashboard to load the default Creator Mode view.

2. Locate the view mode toggle — Look for the view mode badge in the sidebar header, typically displayed as an eye icon or "Creator" label near the top of the sidebar.

3. Click the toggle to switch — Click the badge to instantly change from Creator Mode to Learner Mode or vice versa; no page reload is needed, and the change persists across sessions.

4. Explore Creator Mode features — In Creator Mode, verify access to the full admin sidebar including Library, Analytics, Team, Settings, and course creation tools on your dashboard.

5. Test Learner Mode interface — In Learner Mode, check enrolled courses, progress tracking, To-Do items, and learner-focused navigation to preview the user experience.
